Pręt gatunku 19 9 L / ER 308L do spawania metodą TIG austenitycznych stali nierdzewnych gatunku 304 i 304L. Stopiwo wykazuje wysoką odporność na korozję międzykrystaliczną w kontakcie z cieczami do temperatury 300°C. Stosowany w szerokiej gamie aplikacji do spawania rur, rurociągów, płyt oraz przy produkcji zbiorników i innych konstrukcji ze stali nierdzewnych. Bardzo niska zawartość węgla w stopiwie zmniejsza możliwość wystąpienia korozji międzykrystalicznej eliminując tym samym konieczność wprowadzania dodatków stopowych stabilizujących strukturę metalu.
